Hawzah News Agency- the text of the condolence message of Ayatollah Arafi, the Head of Iran’s seminaries is as follows:

In the name of Allah

To God we belong and to Him we return

The passing away of the eminent preacher of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) Haj Seyyed Ahmad Shams (may God bless him and grant him peace) caused grief and sorrow.

For many years, with sincerity, purity and revolutionary spirit, that man was a source of prosperity for religious, Husseini and revolutionary gatherings and Friday prayer events, and finally he passed away during the days of mourning for Imam Hussain (PBUH).

On my part, I offer my condolences to the bereaved family, friends and respected survivors of that noble man, and especially I offer my condolences to the respected community of eulogists of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) I wish you abundant reward.
